Race 2: #4 Neigh Dude
- Neigh Dude is coming off a couple nice performances for Everton Smith and drops into the claiming level once again today. He was slightly outclassed and it cost him the race late last time out but now 2nd off a layoff and back in for a 15k tag, I think this horse might be ready to win. The connections put the 10 pound apprentice aboard too which should only give this horse an advantage. Maybe he will win today.
Race 5: #11 Hope for Gold
- Hope for Gold is trying to win again for Haleem Lee. He is coming off a solid and game 2nd place finish at Parx. The post is tough for him but he has overcame worse potential trips before. You get Luis Ocasio one of the top riders for this barn aboard today per usual and I think that if he can overcome the 11 hole, he should be able to win.
Race 10: #10 Wagon Boss
- Wagon Boss is a consistent horse at this level for trainer Scott Lake. He is coming off back to back seconds at Parx and Penn National respectively. Ruben Silvera is aboard today and I think that this pairing plus a horse as professional and game as Wagon Boss is a recipe for success in the nightcap.
