The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile received a slight shakeup after this past weekend’s Champagne Stakes 2026 with winner U. S. S. Valor deciding to forego the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile to instead aim for Kentucky Derby 2027. Some other names stamped themselves to the forefront of the juvenile division including American History, who vaulted to victory in the Breeders’ Futurity 2026 at Keeneland this past weekend, as well as Hughes, a Bob Baffert runner that posted a solid figure to win the American Pharoah Stakes 2026 at Santa Anita Park.
