Last Race: 5-23-20
Trip Note: Broke decently, was asked to keep pace behind two leaders who weren’t going too quick up front, was in between horses while being nudged at the ¼, tipped out for home and had dead aim on the leaders but hung on his left lead, just running in place the final 1/8th.
Race Note: The winner sat a sweet trip right off the leader and made it 2 for 2 sprinting on the lawn at GP going off at 2/1.

2 – Royal Duke
No applicable notes off the 7 month break.
3 – No Nay Maybe
Last Race: 3-5-20 (Navarro trained)
Trip Note: Bumped soundly at the start, tugged into a decent spot going into the far turn when he was bumped again, then flattened out to the the line. The early trouble took him out of his game.
Race Note: The winner has come back and turned in two solid efforts. Have to treat these Navarro returnees with a bit of skepticism.

4 – Jungle Warrior
No applicable notes, as his last three races have come on dirt/synthetic.5 – Khozy My Boy
Last Race: 5-14-20
Trip Note: Flat-footed at the start, shuffled back to last, was making up into the turn when he had to check briefly when one was stopping in front of him, never stopped trying down the lane while far back and just missed out on the 3rd spot.
Race Note: The top two finishers were the top two in the wagering and were well clear of the rest.

6 – Poppy’s Boys
Last Race: 5-29-20
Trip Note: PP’s tell the story; showed no real interest at any point and was well beaten.
Race Note: Was bustled along early while showing zero early speed; will really need to get a move on the cutback.

Last Race: 5-14-20
Trip Note: Pretty headstrong early and never really settled into a comfortable position; had a clear shot at the head of the lane, but was empty and lost ground gradually to finish far back.
Race Note: The top two finishers were the top two in the wagering and were well clear of the rest.

8 – Young Raymond
Last Race: 4-11-20
Trip Note: Broke sharply while being bustled along, but just wasn’t as quick as the others up front; rode the fence and gradually lost ground from there, finishing well back.
Race Note: Winner got away with a relatively soft easy first ¼ and had plenty left for the drive.

9 – Deo Forte
Last Race: 5-14-20
Trip Note: Used pretty hard early in a cluster of four behind the leader who was setting a legit tempo; was on his wrong lead down the stretch, while trying his best to hold onto a distant 3rd spot.
Race Note: The top two finishers were the top two in the wagering and were well clear of the rest.

1 – Don’t Get Khozy
Last Race: 5-22-20
Trip Note: Off a tad awkwardly and was shuffled back to last; settled into a nice rhythm and came with a sustained run from the 3/8ths home to check in about a length short, while well clear of the rest.
Race Note: She was probably best, as the winner got away from the field early and had enough left to hold on.

2 – Lady Archa
Last Race: 5-24-20
Trip Note: PP’s tell the story; sat back and came with a decent run inside to just miss.
Race Note: The 1-2 finishers were floating out when they swung for home, forcing her to go inside, which probably didn’t help her chances. Galloped out well in front.
Track Bias: Wet/fast surface.
3 – Well Brush Mytooth
Last Race: 5-23-20
Trip Note: Off just a beat slow, then had to tap on the brakes briefly shortly thereafter; chirped along before the 3/8ths, came around 4 wide to take the lead into the lane, only to get run down late.
Race Note: She started that move fairly far out for this level and did well to just get nailed by the 4/5 favorite in the final 16th.

4 – Lovely Lady Lexi
Last Race: 5-15-20
Trip Note: PP’s tell the story; saved ground early, swung out around the turn and was all out to get by a 12/1 on the wrong lead.
Race Note: Winner was a dropper that took command early through reasonable fractions and was long gone late.

5 – Gauzy
Last Race: 5-15-20
Trip Note: Off last, but was still able to secure a sweet covered up 3rd spot into the first turn; tracked comfortably behind an ordinary pace, then was maneuvered off the fence by Irad at the ¼ and edged away in an all out drive from there.
Race Note: The three that finished directly behind her, all came back to lay eggs in similar spots in their next starts.
Track Bias: Wet/fast surface.
6 – Gesture
Last Race: 4-22-20
Trip Note: PP’s tell the story.
Race Note: Simply outclassed that field on the drop and moved away under minimal urging through lane.

7 – Hartling
Last Race: 4-24-20
Trip Note: Was on a bit of loose rein to try and stay in contact with the leader early, then was in a full out drive by the time they came to the head of the lane; was squeezed out at the 1/8th pole, but was never going to keep pace late with the clear winner.
Race Note: This race had a timing malfunction during the running and I question the hand-timed splits that were eventually put up in the PP’s. Seemed like they were going quicker early, with the winner coming from 7 back and swooping by late to win off.
