#6 Roman Pharoah just claimed by Broberg and stretching out for the first time. Has ample early speed to get to the lead, will be dangerous if can get the distance.
Race 2: 5-8-3
#5 Sierra Hotel is taking the blinkers off, perhaps this gelding will be able to relax more and get the job done. Should sit a good stalking trip, doesn’t need too much improvement vs. these.
Race 3: 5-2-6
Baby MN-bred race….I’ve had success picking winners with these firsters, hope to do the same here with #5 Sense of Flurry, a filly by Ky-Derby winner Street Sense out of a Midshipman mare who earned close to 100k showing plenty of early speed. She has good works for her debut too. Want to mention slower-working #2 Amaretto Di Amore, who is a half to MN leading money earner Mr. Jagermeister. Dam’s babies also 2/3 with her firsters.

Caveman P5 Race #4-8 ticket: 9 / 457 / 1359 10 / 1245 / 237 ($90)
I think this a difficult Pick 5, so I’ll single here. If I lose, I can always play the Pick 4, right? #9 Pranked seems best on paper, although the 9-hole going 7 1/2 on the turf course is not an easy task. Leading jockey Wade needs to save ground on first turn and work out a trip, but if he does with this 4yo filly, she’s going to be tough to beat.
Race 5: 4-7-5
#4 Please the Court lukewarm choice in this sprint for 10k claimers. Colt has found his form in last 3 starts, but needs to work out nice trip vs. wide-open field. Was wide last time, shouldn’t be that wide today.
Race 6: 1-10-3
#1 Whiskey Plank is dropping from maiden special weight to claimers, will save ground from the rail, still has upside, gets leading rider Wade, and has worked well since.
Race 7: 2-4-1
#2 Uncle Goyle has tons of early speed, a trait that is very useful going 5f on turf. Slight step in class, but has the racing style that can win vs. these. I think he might need to sit off others in the pocket and try to go by that way.
Race 8: 3-2-7
#3 Diablo Cuerno is taking a massive drop in this maiden event from 30k to 5k. Been gelded and gets Hamilton, weak field here and perhaps fresh face from out of town will like his new surroundings.
