Trip Note: WOW! This was either an incredibly lucky ride or a confident one. It was probably both. Reserved at the rear for most of the race. On hold right in behind the leaders with no where to go from the 3/8th pole until inside the 16th pole. Jock angled out to the 3-path and was given a push button response to get up in time! Impressive!

Trip Note: Did everything but win this race. Applied moderate pace pressure to #5 Dominant Soul throughout. Pounced on that one inside the 1/8th pole to take the lead and was nailed on the wire.

Trip Note: Draw a line thru this race. Had zero chance to win with this trip. Caught 3W and locked in a 3-horse eyeball duel. Won the battle but lost the war as he tired the final 1/8th. Expect an improved performance sitting just off the speed today!

Trip Note: No doubt he is the up and coming player in the division. This was a razor sharp performance! Jock had a ton of horse underneath him throughout. Stuck on the rail while headstrong around the FT. Had to still wait for room past the 1/8th pole. Carefully guided around the tired pacesetter and was push button exploding away from the field. Rispoli opts to leave him today, which is the only negative.

Trip Note: Reserved at the rear. Inched his way through the field up the rail around the FT. In very tight and on hold while spying for a seam. Brushed with a rival as they turned for home. Not enough to warrant an excuse though. Did get a seam shortly thereafter, but never quickened enough to truly threaten in here.

Trip Note: Received a perfect trip. Stalked the 3-horse duel up front while racing all on his own. Moved up willingly and took over the lead past the 1/8th pole, but was out-finished to the wire. No excuse not to finish the deal with the set-up he received.

Trip Note: Trailed for 95% of this race. Nibbled at past the ¼ pole and put in a noticeable good rally all on her own up the rail. Galloped out in front of this field! This was nothing more than a prep off the long layoff in order to set her up for her preferred surface today.

Trip Note: While she did have her path taken shortly after the start and checked, the jock was already pulling her back in attempt to rate her. She was given no permission to run down the BS. We could tell that frustrated her by her body language. Commenced a rally past the ¼ pole and grinded away in the lane. Gets a rider upgrade today and if she learned what they re-taught her last time, she’s a major player today.

Trip Note: Overall this was a good trip. A bit headstrong through the stretch the first time. Jock was able to tuck him into a tracking covered up position shortly thereafter. Ground saving trip the rest of the way. Had a seam if good enough at the TOS and didn’t punch through! The place finisher did go through that seam and Tyler briefly checked as a result but it cost him nothing in our opinion.
Race Note: Fast early flow set the race up for the winner to rally from the rear.

Trip Note: This race was run a 1M in distance. We are going to guess he ran about an extra 1/8th of a mile with this wide trip. Jock never tried to save an inch of ground as he was caught uncovered 5-6 deep throughout. While it is hard to estimate how much the ground loss cost him, it’s safe to say he had no chance to win with this trip.
