Turf Pick 3 I am playing two tickets today pressing my top choice in the first leg a couple times more.
R4 – 1 5 7       B – 2 3 4 6 8
R6 – 3
R9 – 5

Still could be one more updated prior to first post.

Thoughts will be brief today
Race 1
A LINE
1 Souper Crunchy strung together a few nice races here last year while having some a couple trips.   Trombetta tried to get this one in for Maiden 50 Jan 22nd but was a vet scratch.  Remains on the A line with the inside post and possibility to trip out.
2 Muchomachomac has no excuses in his last 4 but has run an honest one paced effort each time and now will sit an inside trip.
6 Oscarworthy 12-1 will get a moderate win bet from me.   Dec 14th came off a layoff and ran average and last time was carried out extremely wide first turn then made up a ton of ground while being wide.   This one showed some talent last year in the mornings.
8 Hurricane Express is top pick worthy.   Comes out of the same race as Oscarworthy and got a similar trip but had the jump on my top pick.
10 Doctors Orders is a bit one paced but had a wide trip last time but finished decent enough.   Maybe Dylan can find away to save some ground today.

I am leaving out the several in a race with a lot of angles

Race 2
A – 8 Gain is an obvious short priced favorite taking the drop in class but the edge this one has a very slim.

B LINE
2 Ruiz Junior has an experience edge on the field and makes his first start on the dirt with the addition of lasix and blinkers.
3 My Little Caibo’s debut was a tad better than it appears, When was asked to run he responded well but was too far back then had to go wide.   Maybe I am just looking for something that is not here but when you have owned and ridden many that are less than genuine you appreciate an honest effort.
4 Song So Sweet got a great ride and bit of a perfect trip last time but dug in with a game effort last time.

Race 3
A LINE
2 Sixteen Cigarettes ran well 2 back when getting past the N2L condition going this same 7 furlongs, then ran well going a mile last time coming up a bit short.   Turns back in distance and in my opinion is the logical horse to beat.
6 Hey Cue takes a big drop in class while trying the dirt for the first time with an outside post.   This same trainer / jockey combination unleased Air Combat a few weeks ago with a similar move winning 2 straight dirt races in quick fashion.

Other
4 Lomachenko I would not blame anyone for putting on their ticket after adding blinkers last time was much the best going 8 furlongs.   I just refuse to use this horse at a short price after sitting close to a pedestrian pace and beating a bad group.

Race 4 unfortunately is another spot that a case can be made for each runner and is also the first leg of turf pick 3 which is not ideal.
A LINE
1 Forged Steel is 1 for 1 on the grass.   Comes off the bench for Saffie with Edgar and an inside post which I always like, but I do not want a short price on anyone in this field.
5 Gotta Guy has nothing on paper to point toward a win versus this group but since the barn change those turf works are more just a number on the page.   Has looked good in the mornings and had his way with barn mate versus.
7 Into Diamonds will stretch out for the first time and is one I had watched prior to debut then marked as needed two turns, then won sprinting on debut.  Obviously has missed some time so had some issues.

B LINE – everyone else…. no need to go into telling you what you can already see on paper.   Talented group with reasons to step up.

Race 5
LONE A – 4 Ragtop Girl is one I will take shot with although has some things I consider a negative.   Claimed three races back from Saffie but overcame that last time when breaking the maiden being outpaced early then ran up on heels and took back.  Vasquez ranged this filly up tipped out and dominated a bad group and to top it off she has not had an official work since Nov. 29th but visually has showed the most talent.

B LINE by a narrow margin
1 Bonmati ran a best race to date last time while making her first start for Carlos and was nothing wrong with the effort tripped out a bit and could not finish the job.   Did Saez opt for the 7?
7 Southern Palace’s debut wins this race and should be the controlling speed from an outside post.   Claimed from Saffie last time when they dumped this filly but has worked back since when looked just average on Feb 1st.

Just mentioning so top spot in later races.
Race 6 is a race to look back on in 6 months as I liked a lot of things I seen in the mornings from these fillies.
3 Fast Market should be a decent price and I will make a moderate win wager.   Far from a lock in a field of this quality but the Jan 26th turf work she was breathing fire with older proven mate.   Never asked her to do much so maybe when she gets the call she can’t run but she sure looked classy and ready to go in that work.

Race 7
2 Amor Y Control has crossed the wire first five straight races and I have on top but might have some competition up front today.

B LINE
5 Bayernee’s last race was fast widening and geared down late.
6 Garnet and Gold is a fresh face but she better be the goods as she has never seen speed like she will today.

Race 8 – No strong opinion.   Several are working good in the morning but for barns who do win first out often.
A LINE
1 – Luvumorgan looked good but no Edgar?  I liked what I saw in the morning but maybe be looking for two turns and has a bad post.
5 – Pastry – Nothing negative
7 – Shred the Gnar is going to be over bet as she is the morning buzz horse and looked great of what I was able to watch BUT  Lynch does not aim to win first out.
9 – Sugarfina is one of two Mott’s with a lack of info
10 – She’s a Gamer is the bet here if you make one at all she ran very well last time.
11 – Kapoor – No information

Race 9 – 5 Sold’Oro is one I complained about a bit not having any information on prior to debut and then was one of the most impressive debut runners of the meet.

Race 10 is a race I will be spreading but wanted to mention my top selection.
10 Want All the Smoke had a rough start on debut but once clear in the lane she ran on strong in the lane making up a ton of ground.
