Nick is joined by broadcaster Cornelius Lysaght to discuss all the day’s racing news, featuring the release of the Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings that saw Ghaiyyath sit comfortably at the top of the 2020 pile, with the next 19 horses separated by just 3 pounds. With the Juddmonte International named the highest ranking individual race, Nick talks to York’s Chief Executive William Derby about the race’s history and success. Later in this edition, Nick is joined by Nick Alexander, trainer of Cheltenham hopeful Lake View Lad, and by agent Will Kinsey, who bought MGSW Stormy Ireland at yesterday’s Goffs UK online auction and who reveals that it is a “strong possibility ” that the mare returns to Wille Mullins.
