Nick Tammaro’s Aqueduct Analysis – Friday, February 12

AQUEDUCT – 2/12/2021

RACE 1: 1-5-2-3

#1 WISHES AND DREAMS was an incredibly facile winner last time out and was claimed from that event by Rudy Rodriguez, who is 30% with a breakeven ROI when claiming dirt starters who won their last outing.  She should get some pace to run at in here as a heavy favorite.

RACE 2: 1-8-7-2

#1 LOVE THAT FACE battled tooth and nail on a strong pace last time out before tiring late while racing along the inside.  She can improve today shortening up for a barn that is 25% with dirt starters going route-to-sprint ($5.25 ROI).

RACE 3: 4-6-1

#4 ICE PRINCESS is strictly the one to beat on a huge class drop for trainer Danny Gargan.  She is suited best to today’s distance and has found a soft bunch for this level.

RACE 4: 6-5-3

The class relief #6 MIA BEA STAR is getting today makes her the one to beat for a barn that is 9 for its last 24 at this meet.  She faced a solid bunch of 40k N2L sellers last out, as the winner came back to finish 3rd against tougher on Monday.

RACE 5: 5-3-4-8

#5 SUPER BELLE has had only one prior opportunity on dirt, and it was the best effort of her career.  She now makes a positive barn change and gets an aggressive pilot in a race that’s short on confirmed early zip.

RACE 6: 7-5-6-1

#7 NOT THAT BRADY did everything but win last time out when he got run down by his entrymate.  He looms the controlling speed again and is clearly back in form.  This is the right class level and pace scenario.

RACE 7: 2-3-4-6

#2 FOREVER CHANGED was compromised by a slow pace last time out and ran into a razor sharp rival in Jump for Joy.  This daughter of Flashback is versatile in that she can go forward early, or take back and make one run.

RACE 8: 2-6-5-9

#2 ORPHAN HALLIE was wide every step of the way last time out on a day where you wanted to save ground.  She deserves another shot second off a claim by Mike Maker at the right class level this afternoon.

AQUEDUCT STATS: 33-9-6-6   $68.40
