AQUEDUCT ANALYSIS – 02/21/2025
RACE 1: 5-1-2
There are three winning siblings on the dam side for #5 MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE who debuts for Chad Brown. This filly appears to be training well, draws well outside and meets a soft field on debut.
RACE 2: 1-3-2-6
#1 WHISTLER’S STYLE is a deep late closer who should be moving well in the waning stages of this affair. There’s a good bit of pace signed up in this compact field and she handled the mile without issue last time out. This is a clear class drop and the effort two back in a slow paced race was far better than it looks on paper.
RACE 3: 4-2-5-6
It has been a good run of late for Eddie Barker and he has #4 NICO’S DERBY RUN on the drop this afternoon. He was last seen facing open MSW rivals and they proved to be much too tough. This is the right class level and he meets only one major rival in this bunch.
RACE 4: 3-5-7
Scratches have absolutely decimated this field and make #3 BROWN DON’T STOP a major threat from jus toff he pace. His two back effort behind Janssen was solid and a similar performance today would make him a major threat.
RACE 5: 3-1-2-5
#3 PERFECT FLIGHT is a late player here off a good runner-up effort behind a runaway winner last time out. He should get more pace to run at this afternoon and has worked his way into solid form. If things heat up on the top end he’ll only be helped.
RACE 6: 4-5-2-7
#4 AMUNDSON is the one to catch for new trainer John Toscano, Jr. after winning four straight for Mertkan Kantarmaci. If he is able to show that same speed he’ll be a major threat from start to finish.
RACE 7: 6-5-3-1
#6 VICTORY WAY showed some tactical speed last time out and faded late against better competition. This is his third start off a layoff and he should improve today with a cozy outside post back sprinting.
RACE 8: 9-7-4-2
#9 GRAND CASH is a second time starter who showed plenty on debut and now gets an upgrade at pilot. He draws well on the outside and had some issues along the way that kept him from a better finish in the debut.
