AQUEDUCT ANALYSIS – 02/15/2025
RACE 1: 5-2-1-6
#5 TALE OF THE TAIL has shown enough on the racetrack to get the nod today as the likely favorite. This daughter of Vekoma has speed and should use it to get a forward position under Manny Franco. Look for her to come out of the gate swinging.
RACE 2: 6-3-7-4
#6 IGNITE THE LIGHT enters off a maiden win where he went clear late after stalking the pace. He faces winners for the first time today and should be able to get close to the pace from a cozy outside post.
RACE 3: 2-5-4
#2 MAMA’S GOLD should be too fast for these early and is likely to get clear in the opening stages. He has been on a roll lately with consecutive wins against NY bred stakes foes as well as optional claimers. If he gets the lead here they’re all in trouble.
RACE 4: 9-5-4-2
#9 JACKIE THE JOKER goes first off a claim by Rick Dutrow, Jr. after stalking a hot pace last time out and fading late. She should be involved early today and stands to move forward off this claim. The rider on board has shown he’s aggressive enough to get his speedy mounts to forward spots.
RACE 5: 4-6-8-9
#4 DEBATE goes 2nd off a claim by Wayne Potts and should be moving well late. This son of Flatter has no early speed and that is a hazard in dirt racing, but he has a nice late kick and should be moving well late.
RACE 6: 8-2-9-7
#8 ACCIDENTAL BID goes first off a claim by Linda Rice and stands to move forward today for this new barn. He should be forwardly placed given he has plenty of speed, even on the slight cutback in distance.
RACE 7: 6-2-8-1
#6 GRAMMY GIRL is a late runner who has stepped forward in her last couple of starts. She is rounding into top form and should be in a good spot just off the pace. If she runs back to her last two outings she’ll be tough to handle.
RACE 8: 3-5-2-7
#3 WILLINTORISKITALL had some traffic trouble last time out when 3rd at 5-1 against similar foes. He should be a threat here with a cleaner go of it and this is the third start of his form cycle. He should be a fair price as well in a deep and competitive field.
RACE 9: 4-7-2-9
#4 DIALBOLICO is a player here as the main speed as he drops in class from 40k to the basement in terms of claiming price. He is the one to catch today and will be well clear in the opening stages of this affair.
