AQUEDUCT ANALYSIS – 02/13/2025
RACE 1: 3-1-6-5
#3 YO LEVEN is the one to beat third off a claim by Bill Morey, whose barn excels with these types. The pace edge this filly possesses and weight break only add to the appeal, even if she’ll end up going off below her morning line odds.
RACE 2: 2-3-1-6
#2 UNION SUIT goes 2nd off a claim following an improved effort last time out against better. This is the right spot from a class perspective and no trainer plays the claiming game at the level of Linda Rice. She should have enough speed to be heavily involved from the start.
RACE 3: 5-4-1-3
The wide trip last time out undoubtedly worked against #5 NOBLE HUNTSMAN, who wound up a distant 4th against a tougher field. He should get some pace to run at today with ample speed signed up and the price will be appealing. This is also a massive rider upgrade to Lane Luzzi.
RACE 4: 3-5-4-2
#3 J D FACTOR takes a sizable class drop for Eddie Barker after making two moves last out when 3rd against tougher. He should be more of a factor early today with the addition of blinkers and will be a deserving favorite.
RACE 5: 7-2-1-3
#7 DANNEEL returns off a layoff for a new barn and trainer Steven Schauer has proven to be quite adept so far. She has shown some life against MSW company at Finger Lakes and that should translate well to this 20k level in NY.
RACE 6: 2-3-1/1A-6
The veteran #2 UNBRIDLED BOMBER is going to be a strong late threat today as he goes postward as a new gelding and with blinkers. He has a strong late kick and needs some pace help, but he’s spent the majority of his career facing much better and gets key class relief here.
RACE 7: 7-4-5-1
#7 WILLFUL DESIRE comes back on short rest following a handy win here 6 days ago. She is the main speed from the outside but can stalk if necessary and she should be a heavy favorite today.
RACE 8: 4-1-6-5
A chalky close to the card is likely in the offing here as #4 BLUE EYED SCOUT is going to be a heavy favorite. She gets key class relief going in for a tag and has the speed to get loose in the opening stages today.
