AQUEDUCT ANALYSIS – 02/01/2025
RACE 1: 2-1A-3-4
#2 FOLLOW YOUR ARROW is the one to catch for trainer Bill Morey off a claim and this barn has excelled with these types over the last five years. The pace belongs to this daughter of Bal a Bali, who was involved in a white hot early tempo last out before being passed late. Look for her to get loose early under the bug boy.
RACE 2: 4-5-2
The stakes form for #4 DISCO EBO is respectable and should put her in the driver’s seat for success today. She is quick enough to get clear early today and has been better when treated with Lasix. This barn is also more than capable in NY and the price will be right here in a competitive bunch.
RACE 3: 2-3-4-6
#2 AMY’S LIGHT is interesting at a price off an improved effort last out returning to dirt. She’s in light once again with an apprentice aboard and should be able to make up late ground with a decent pace expected. This time of year it’s important to recognize any subtle form improvements and that’s the case with this gal.
RACE 4: 4-5-1-3
The wide trip 2 back for #4 POINTS IS POINTS dogged this daughter of Constitution, who ended up making up late ground last time out to be third. She now adds distance and appears to be a filly who’ll benefit from going more ground. She should get some pace to run at in here as well.
RACE 5: 1-3
#1 TABEGUACHE drops in class and should be a major early threat today given the scratches in this already compact field. If able to get loose early it’ll be hard to run this son of Into Mischief down late given the class drop and return to getting treated with Lasix.
RACE 6: 1-5-3-2
#1 NATURAL HARBOR has been in very good form since being claimed and has clearly improved during that time period. He is the one to catch from the rail in a race without a great deal of early speed. If able to get loose he looms a major threat to go the distance for dangerous human connections.
RACE 7: 1-5-6-8
#1 NILRUC narrowly missed last time out and now seeks redemption for Bruce Brown. He ran the best race of his career back on January 19 and did so while chasing wide before making a middle move. The winner of that race has already returned to win so there’s reason to upgrade this son of Connect.
