RACE 1: 3-4-6-1
#3 B D SAINTS is the one to beat on a big class drop for Gary Sciacca after a poor effort last time out against better. He gets Irad Ortiz, Jr. and should improve on this move into the claiming ranks.
RACE 2: 4-2-1-3
#4 BOURBON SERENGETI is the one to beat second off a claim by Rick Dutrow, Jr. shipping in from Churchill Downs. The shippers from Churchill have excelled, specifically on dirt and this gal figures to be a major pace player to boot.
RACE 3: 4-6-1-2
#4 PINEAPPLE MAN is a major pace player coming off a try against a tougher field top to bottom for Michelle Nevin. He has run well locally and is in solid form, which is always important for this class group.
RACE 4: 12-9-2-11
#12 MALU comes back off a break after wiring a field of N1X types at Aqueduct. She is quick enough to get command in the opening stages and should be dangerous if able to get to the top.
RACE 5: 2-4-5-1
#2 MADELINE’S PROMISE is the one to catch on a class drop for Dale Romans after tiring last out against better at Churchill Downs. She will be re-united with Junior Alvarado, with whom she was victorious at Gulfstream earlier this year.
RACE 6: 5-6-8-2
#5 EPIC DESIRE is a major threat to move forward this afternoon at second asking following a debut where he showed little following a poor break. More time and added distance should help this colt based on his pedigree and he’ll be a deserving favorite today.
RACE 7: 3-1-6-7
#3 CLOE is back on turf and should be a major threat from the start. She has enough speed to be a player and Irad Ortiz, Jr. is sticking aboard. Look for her to get into the mix from the outset this afternoon.
RACE 8: 7-2-3-4
#7 GALLO DE FUEGO enters from Churchill Downs after two tries against comparable foes down in Louisville. He is the one to beat today for Dale Romans dropping back into the maiden claiming ranks.
RACE 9: 13-12-14-11
#13 WHITTINGTON PARK is in a good spot from just off the pace breaking towards the outside. He has been successful here in the past and should be a major threat on the main track here.
RACE 10: 15-14-9-16
#15 SOONTOBEKING is dangerous here dropping out of NY bred stakes races for George Weaver. The mile distance is right in his wheelhouse, and he has remained consistently solid throughout the last 6 months.
