RACE 2: 3-2-4-1
The week starts with #3 R DISASTER a likely short-priced favorite in the first of the day. She is the one to catch coming in off a bang-up effort in the Honorable Miss over a sloppy Saratoga main track. The lead is hers for the taking and she has been in improving form of late for Saffie Joseph, Jr.
RACE 3: 3-7-9-1
#3 MR BROWNS TOWN looks to have trained well over the training track at Belmont for Chad Brown. That might be enough for him to leave this son of Medaglia d’Oro in this 75k maiden seller on debut. The dam was graded stake placed on dirt, so there’s reason to believe he’ll handle the main track.
RACE 4: 1-5-4-3
#1 ACOUSTIC AVE is dangerous breaking from the rail after failing last out against much tougher over this oval. The winner of that race is headed to the Grade I Forego on Saturday afternoon and this guy was gallant in finishing second. He should be in an ideal stalking spot from the outset in this spot.
RACE 5: 7-3-8-4
#7 TIZIO is a first timer by 14% debut sire Omaha Beach, but the dam was all turf. This gelding has reportedly trained well for H. James Bond and should face a soft field given the lack of dirt experience in this bunch. Depending on scratches, he should be a square price as well.
RACE 6: 13-12-1-11
#13 QUINNS SILENT ROAR is a second timer who debuted on turf at Woodbine and got within range of a white hot pace before tiring. She should be tough second time out given the success this barn has had going turf-to-dirt. The outside draw will enable Katie Davis to stalk and pounce as well.
RACE 7: 1-2-7-5
#1 REGISTER has been on wet tracks in every start of late but has handled them fine. He is the main speed from the inside today and should be a fair price in a competitive field. There’s only one way to go for this son of Super Saver who absolutely needs to be on the lead.
RACE 8: 1/1A-3-12-13
The Flying P-owned entry of #1 TUT’S REVENGE and #1A LOCO ABARRIO looks awfully formidable. The former is looking to improve on dirt, a surface over which he has run well numerous times. The latter is a stretched out sprinter off the claim who has back form that wallops this field.
RACE 9: 14-3-11-13
#14 LAUGHING LADY goes first off a claim by a sharp barn in that of Rob Falcone, Jr. She is quick and showed that last out with a frontrunning gambit that nearly paid off. Look for her to get control of this race at once.
