Looking back on Wednesday’s selections:

Race 6: SELECTIONS 2 and 3 and 6

#6 Happy Constitution scratched and we only had two live runners in the race 🙁

NOTE – Always leave yourself time to adjust for changes IF possible.

Race Winner was #4 Celestial Cheetah – I did not think that she was ready yet – Boy was I wrong – Looking back – Good trainers spot their horses well.

Race 7:  SELECTIONS 4 and 5 and 7

Race Winner was #5 Souper Watson – We got our VALUE Pick home! There was an objection but we still got the Dub.

Race 8: SELECTIONS 3 and 5

Race Winner was #6 Paladio – I keyed in on his last race were he was not good . Looking at back – Races from GPW in October makes this outcome visible.  Hindsight is 20/20

Race Winner was #8 Candy Flower ! GOT it

Race 10: SELECTIONS 6 and 7 and 8

Race Winner was #9 Romario – He ran a winning race Even looking back I can’t see this one.

#1 Dixieland Darling – Lack of early speed and drawing the 1 post is enough concern for a Pass.

#2 Viking Queen – better suited for today’s conditions but still needs to get much faster. Pass.

#3 Hadley – Being an effective closer at Gulfstream can be challenge, this Casse trained Filly deserves an INCLUDE because she can be mid pack.

#4 I Get It  – Late running closer – dropping in class could get up but will have a lot to do.  Timid Pass

#5 Coffee Buzz Buzz – Performance in initial turf race was good – 1st time Lasix today – INCLUDE

#6 Polished Gem – Tries Turf for the 1st time.  Trainer Ian Wilkes hits the board with Turf horses but his win % is only 6 – Pass.

#7 Viburnum – Dropping in class and would benefit from a solid pace, could get that based on the runners and field size – INCLUDE

#8 Terry’s Dream – Only competitive race was in the slop when she broke maiden.  Pass.

#9 Sweet Pearl – was forced wide from the 8 hole last time and it did her no favors.  Does get Saez and we can expect to see a more aggressive ride out of the gate. Timid INCLUDE

#5 Pandorica – No Sir – No Ma’am

#6 Luisana Princess – Last time out was her first on dirt and she ran well – no competition late in the race – finished easy. – it would be doubtful if that effort wins here. – Gets Lasix could improve Timid INCLUDE

#1 Halcyon Digest – Good early speed and EJ can harness that speed unlike many others. INCLUDE

#2 Yes This Time – Paco Lopez and Keelly Breen at 20-1 sounds unreal on a good horse that is unproven.  I don’t think he can win but should be included somewhere if he is anywhere near those odds.

#3 Mira Mission – Pass.

#4 Honorable – Looks really solid wont be a price but a must INCLUDE

#5 Southern Passage – Closer that will need a trip.  Pass.

#5 Strike the Top – Finally breaks his Maiden last time going 7 on the dirt – Goes back to Turf today -Head scratcher but Graham Motion knows better than me. Timid INCLUDE

#9 Palace Kitten – Fought gamely at this level last time out.  Will need a slow to average pace to have a chance. TBD

#10 Reliability – Late running Gelding gets a 1/16th less than his previous two attempts to get to the wire first – Pass.

#11 Alejandro’s Team – Drops in class today but has yet to run any competitive races since he ran in the level below this one – Pass.

Selections:  3 and 4 and 5 and 8

There are a few more INCLUDES in this sequence than I typically would like to see but, that is one of the benefits of the horizontal wager; the cost does not exponentially go up with an additional runner here and there.  There are a few decent price horses INCLUDED as well    – Lets play this one for a base of $ 96

Let’s Make it Happen!!!
