Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 5 – 2 – 9
#5 Bal de Mar has top early speed and gets blinkers for the first time. Owner and Breeder, Andy Wilhite, seems to be taking his time and picking this filly’s spots well. #2 Bellofthebluegrass has solid speed figures and is dropping in class after trying for the bag over at Kentucky Downs; fits well in this race. #9 Tiz Ready was bet well on debut and was given time off after a not so good second start. Her works have been solid for top connections.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 6 – 3 – 2
#6 Pirate Radio returns to the dirt after winning on it after running over other surfaces her entire career; keeps Jockey Miguel Vasquez. #3 Lady Monique Fits the Bill for improvement at a decent price point for solid connections. #2 Thingsrgettinharry is a very consistent runner that was unprepared at the start last time.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 6 – 7 – 9
#6 Relator ran a very good 2nd place on debut, today he is cutting back in distance; good recent works. #7 Art Fair best pace figures are early and he should do well with the cutback and drop in class. #9 Incanto now is a gelding and gets blinkers on; fast recent works.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 5 – 7
#5 Heir to the Roar is a versatile strong runner who did not get a good start last time out but she ran on for a close second. #7 Founder’s Day has lots of potential in this spot and should be a mid range price on the tote.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 2- 1 – 8
#2 Mi Bago is a strong closer that should relish the 7.5 Furlongs. #1 Tank needs the lead but could take them gate to wire if not pressed. #8 Scarecrow has a big late kick and could benefit from a potential fast pace.
