Race 1: #6 Juliet’s Music
- Juliet’s Music is coming off a victory for Everton Smith and his team. Granted that win was at Penn National but sometimes all it takes is for a horse to face a little weaker competition and win in order to return to the winners circle at Parx. The last time she won at Parx was the Monday after the PA derby but she does have a second over this course recently about two months ago. I think she is in a good spot here and should be one of the favorites. She gets Dexter Haddock today as well who traveled to Penn National with the horse last time out that resulted in a victory.
Race 4: #1 This Round’s Mine
- This Round’s Mine has won 4 out of her last 6 starts and the only two losses were both 2nds including last time out which was in January. I think she needed the couple month break and should be able to win again today. Anthony Nunez has been on fire the past two weeks and I think he finds himself in the winners circle again today on this one.
Race 6: #1 Flashndynamite
- Flashndynamite has a slight advantage over these two Ness entrants here in this small field. Sure she is breaking from the rail and she is two years older than the Ness horses but this one has been training very well in the morning over this Parx surface unlike those two. The two Ness horses are both shippers who were working in Kentucky and Maryland respectively. Parx is the type of surface where if you work over it, you have the advantage. Moore and Gonzalez win often together and I think today could be another victory.
