Parx Spot Plays
Race 7: #5 Fore Harp
- Fore Harp looks really sharp in this field. Butch Reid always has his horses ready for days like today and this one always shows up. You can throw out the last race for this one as I just think this horse likes Parx more. I think he stays undefeated over this course today.
Race 8: #6 Honorable Chill
- Kate DeMasi doesn’t usually run her 2yo fillies in stakes races on debut, PA bred stake or not. The fact she is confident enough to enter this horse in a race like this is a positive sign. Granted this isn’t a stakes caliber field but more of a glorified MSW race with a higher purse due to the “PA day at the races” card. I do still think this spot is aggressive and the confidence is good.
Race 11: #4 Buy Land and See
- Buy Land and See is a cool PA bred. Mychel Sanchez and this horse get along so well no matter the surface. I actually think this one likes the dirt more than his form suggests. The race sets up for him today and I think if the pace is as strong as it seems on paper, he should be able to sit off and pounce out the turn.
