Parx Racing 3/20/23

Parx Spot Plays

Race 2: #7 Bokermin

  • Bokermin has been running in over his head for most of his career and since being put in the Lou Linder barn, has been in nothing but SOC races at both Parx and Penn National. His form isn’t that good but I think the drop into the condition is key for him. Dexter Haddock gets the call today once again and I think this horse could produce a big effort on the class drop.

Race 5: #2 Luna T

  • Luna T is still a maiden after going 0-9 so far in her young career. I think she is a bleeder which is common at this level of maidens. Scott Lake is giving her lasix for the first time this afternoon and hopefully that will lead to her not stopping abruptly during the race. Her recent workout on the 8th of this month was a bullet work which is a good sign that maybe Scott Lake has tweaked something and it has helped her run better. This field is full of underperforming maidens and anything can happen, so the slightest adjustment can result in a win.
