Race 2: #5 Without a View
- Without a View is in a good spot once again today. Her form last year was very good and consistent. It tailed off during the end of the year but then picked right back up in February. I think she is the type to get better every race and once she gets into that rhythm she can be tough in any race. She is coming off back to back 3rds and I think if Lou Linder can just get her over that hurdle late in races where she seems to just not get the job done, then she will be tough today.
Race 4: #2 Causalistic
- Causalistic is slightly dropping in class for Danny Velazauez and Longball stables LLC. Dexter Haddock gets the mount. I think this horse ran huge last time out but was ridden by one of the new apprentices who might have just not given him the trip he needed in order to win. Dexter haddock tends to get the good ones for Danny and this one could be another one that wins with Haddock aboard.
Race 8: #5 Perfect Day
- Perfect Day is in a tough spot here but his form makes him one of the top choices here. He is 2 for 3 lifetime and both wins cames at Parx and Penn National. Once he branched out to a race out of town, that is where he lost. Granted that was a black type stake at Laurel and he finished 4th by about 5 lengths. I think the return to this level and return to Parx should be beneficial. Abner Adorno keeps the mount once again and today might be the day he returns to his winning ways.
