Parx Racing 7/4/23

Parx Spot Plays

Race 1: #6 Esor

  • Esor isn’t necessarily the lone speed here but definitely is one of the main early speed contenders. His form is very spotty but you can toss out that last race on the grass. Sofia Vives has been riding this horse well and Romero has this horse training very well. I think this one is the one to beat today.

Race 6: #5 Young Squire

  • Young Squire is a really nice young horse. This 3yo gelding is undefeated in 2 starts for Ed Coletti Jr. Anthony Nunez has been aboard this horse each start and I like that he stays aboard today. He should be the horse to beat if he can keep his form like he has the last two races.

Race 9: #5 Game Seven

  • Game Seven has been solid in his young and lightly raced career. Debuting for Pletcher before being sent to John Servis. Game Seven won his debut by 5 and attracted the guidance of Irad Ortiz Jr, in the debut run. Now Frankie Pennington is his jock and I think 2nd time out for John Servis should be all this horse needs to return to the winner’s circle.
