Race 3: #7 Mercy Mercy
- Mercy Mercy I think will improve off those two bad efforts. The switch of barns will help as Catalano has stalls here and is on the backside every day whereas Michael Jones was basing his operation out of Fair Hill mostly. I think the fact that the ownership stays the same and Mychel Sanchez keeps the mount are both green flags. Should be tough today.
Race 5: #2 Bustin Up
- Bustin Up is one of my favorite horses on the turf in this region of racing. I had him last time out and he came up a little short. 2nd time out for Soto and Ruben Silvera keeps the mount. I think this is the one to beat.
Race 6: #4 Sacred Rider
- Sacred Rider has recently been added to the Haleem Lee barn and I expect for this one to be ready today. His debut for the barn was pretty bland and definitely needed a race to settle into the new environment. This one attracts Kendrick Carmouche aboard and I think that this could be a new jockey/trainer combination I can get behind.
