  • Matt,
Thanks for the show as always. Look forward to it every week. I know this isn’t a topic we want to go too far into, but after the Navarro case everyone saying “well yeah just look at these pps on some of these horses…it’s smacking you right in the face”. And fine, that’s fair and could very well be legitimate. But why do i feel like Bemma’s boy may have been one of those examples if the name next to the trainer was Navarro and not Mike Maker. Can’t win at 40 claimer and improving his figs as a 5 year old by 30 plus points and winning graded stakes? I am not accusing Mike Maker of anything i want to be clear on this. But how do we analyze and how can we say that’s a great training job versus funny business going on? And this goes for all trainers/horses, just happened to see an example in Bemmas boy and Mike Maker. And again im not accusing him of anything, but there are horses on the same card in that barn with similar patterns to Bemma’s. On a larger scale how do you factor that in to your handicapping? Thanks.
