1 Delta Delta ran his debut in early July and not been seen since, now comes back late in the championship meet and now being gelding. Can justify including this one simply because it is Pletcher but this is a takeout reducer for me. No Workout information
2 Mo Vanishing was claimed for 20K out of debut now new connection step up in class and only has 1 official work since claim, I will pass
3 Acamar is 0 for 5 runing with no excuses in any of the previous, would have to show up today a different animal.
4 (A) Luna Warrior will make his second start in D’Angelo barn today and now back into MSW company. Previous start was for MD20K but a fast race where he showed good speed and finished well with the difference at the wire being saved ground. Luna Warrior was 3 wide late and winner cut corner, then galloped out back by the winner nicely. OLD WORKOUT INFO – Debut was way back in 2021 and was showing very sharp works coming into debut B+ Gate type works. Obviously has had issues as he has changed barns twice and had a year off. Could get first run on a leader that is unproven going long.
5 (A) Dark Vector makes his 3rd Start for Weaver who is 8% in this scenario. Dark Vector had good speed after added blinkers in his last and ran well finished a clear second behind the talented Carl Speckler, has maintained a solid string of works and is definitely. Does face older today for the first time.
6 (A) Guaranteed Speck could drift up in price and offer some value in this spot. Races on Feb 17th(3 Wide Entire Race) and Jan 20th he ran very well in both those efforts simply was out finished late and galloped out strong in both.
7 (B) Broken Spur comes in off a big layoff and will try 2 turns for the first time today for Mott, I have no recent work information on this one. Had 2 very good Turf Sprints at Belmont last year being out finished in both but still had some run in the tank. I am a big Mott/Jun backer at the championship meet, but I question why this one is just now being seen at the meet? Maybe expecting the weaker fields toward the end hoping to snag a big purse. I may use defensively but will not be leaning on this one.
8 (C) El Oro for Sisterson has a lot of first today. Turf / Lasix / Blinkers. You can view the March 17th work on XBTV traveled well in hand entire work, Definitely need to see the workout report hoping for some information on the March 23rd work. Will face older for the first time today.
