Pretty good card today at Santa Anita after a chalky start yesterday to the 4-day racing weekend (President’s Day Card on Monday). Special attention to race 2 today, where Karen Headley enters both Brace for Impact and Curry, her dad’s (Bruce Headley) last two winners before he passed away in January after at the age of 86, following a 60+ year in the industry. Wishing the connections, the best.
Today’s cases for and against start in Race 3 for me, where if you are a new reader, I make cases for some horses that may not be the obvious selections, and cases against some shorter priced horses that may be light on value. For each, I will “show the work” and highlight a few different tools and resources available to fans and horseplayers.
