Special President’s Day card at Santa Anita today, where although field size is not great, this is a sneaky good card. Competitive races include a race 6, a maiden special weight featuring two highly touted Baffert’s who are running out of time to break their maiden in time to start making noise on the Derby trail and a solid field of older fillies and mares in race 7, The Wishing Well Stakes.
Only two horses in the spotlight of this article today as I layout a case for 4/1 ML fourth choice Annangel in Race 1 and take a shot against the 9/5 ML favorite, Herd Immunity in race 4.
