3 Cosmic Stardust for Wilkes who simply does not win first out.
4 Portofino was in for a tag in debut when he broke cleanly had inside position but was working hard to keep pace early cut corner running on same pace before tiring late. Gets on the grass for the first time today. Barn is 0 for 7 in this spot. Will wait for this one to find a softer spot.
5 Petcoff
6 Cooler King should be on the lead here with Paco riding back again. Last effort on the grass was his best race in 5 starts but had No excuse in stretch, shortening at 16th being no match for the winner, but ran well.
7 (A) Harry’s onthefly is a half to good sprinter Harrys Ontheloose, Makes his 3rd start today for a barn that is 1 for 4 in this scenario, That 1 was Harry’s onthelooose … Gets Lasix today for the first time. His last he ran really well, beaten by 3 3/4 but hung on left lead for a bit in stretch or would been closer. But still no Match for talented Listentothemusic colt. Should sit right off Cooler King here and out finish him in the stretch.
8 All in All is a half to Totally Boss for a barn who is 1 for 9 first time Turf Sprinting MSW, has been working with another unraced maiden and just no information here to go on.
9 (B) More Than Looks is one of two DeVaux runners here. 2 for 11 FirstTime / Turf / Sprinting, Worked with Silver Stripes on Jan 23rd who won at first asking a couple weeks ago going long on the Tapeta. I would have to put this one on equal term with the barns other runner who is a shorter price.
10 Lawful makes his 3rd start, Debut was strong finishing well and galloping out past the field then came back on the 12th of Jan and did not repeat that debut effort. Was not in for a tag that day and maybe the turf moves this one up.
11 SCRATCH (B) Al Atlasi tries the grass after running 2 very good dirt sprints. When this barn goes to Tyler you have to pay attention. If the 7 gets a little tired late this one could pick up the pieces.
Top Pick – 7 Harry’s OntheFly I will play a light Trifecta or maybe narrow that to just an Exacta play since there are some unknowns here.

Race 7 1 1/8 TURF – Lack of speed is my only concern here. Someone could get loose. Not going into great detail with these, as there is only one thing we need to know… DORAL
1 (A) Doral is the first foal to race out of Dacita and she looked great in debut full of run at wire just ran into a nice filly. Mott – 2nd Start / Long Turf / MSW is just 8% but Mott/Alvarado @ Gulfstream making 2nd or 3rd start has always been on my radar.. This filly is all I need to today, The horses in here not sure will get a price worth betting but I will take Even money today. WIN BET
2 I’m a Sure Thing has ran well in two starts but was NO Match for Doral in the last.
3 Shirl’s Delight is the unknown in the group. Moving to the Maker barn and going long on the grass for the first time is always Dangerous and Saez may send this one, hard to say. She has showed little in two starts.
4 Skyview Drive looked decent in her last and Chad is 30% in this scenario, but this filly took no money in her last at Tampa then was flat in stretch. Gallop out was average.
5 Way to Early I expected to show a bit more in her Jan 8th effort she trailed the field and once in stretch did no running.
6 SCRATCH Pedigeek for Casse would need to take a significant step forward from her previous.
7 Mademoisellejackie is 0 for 5, I do think this is the right move for her going 1 1/8, she is big plodding one pace type. Rosario could send her with the lack of pace in the race. Looking to use her underneath.
8 Bomba Nera ran well on debut having a good trip but was no match for Doral or the winner. Will take a step forward after getting some experience.
9 Por Una Cabeza improved when she got to the grass for the first time. She was splitting horses the entire stretch with good energy, Unfortunately could not see the gallop out.
TOP PICK – 1 DORAL – I will be making a win bet on her and putting her together in any wagers I can build. Single on every ticket.
