Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 4 – 6 – 1
#4 Rezasrolex is on 7 race win streak and keeps jockey Edward Zayas in the irons. #6 Send Cash returns to the turf and should get a good trip from the outside, Tyler Gaffalione is scheduled to ride. #1 Poseidon’s Law is returning from a 49 day rest for strong connections and workout tab looks strong.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 5 – 3 – 2
#5 Chispuda has been away from the races for the past seven months but on her debut back in May, she flashed good early speed. #3 Must Be the Shoes is a well-bred, daughter of Knicks Go, first time starter Ford trainer Carlos David. #2 Gypsy ran a solid 3rd in her last race over a sloppy track gets a jockey upgrade with Tyler Gaffe Leon in the irons.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 3 – 7
#3 Tappan Street the first-place winner of last year’s Florida Derby, who hasn’t raced since, shows up here in today’s 7th race. If he is ready off the long layoff, he should romp. With all eyes focused on the return of Tappan Street, #7 Speak Easy has the running style and the back class to surprise this field.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 7 – 4 – 6
#7 Call Me Spicy moves to the new barn of trainer Carlos David gets top jockey Irad Ortiz and is dropping in class. #4 Beautiful Crazy last race was the first off a long layoff and she tired late, building off of that performance we can anticipate a strong running from this daughter of Oscar performance. #6 Hot Cargo is dropping in class and has good early pressing speed.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 5 – 8
#5 Hotter Than Dem is returning from a three-month layoff Gets top jockey Irad Ortiz in the saddle, and has shown good early pace in her previous races. #8 Complexed is dropping in class and moves to the turf. Going longer on turf for the first time is one of my favorite stats to look for with trainer Mark Casse runners, plus we get hall of famer jockey Johnny V. in the irons.
Today’s ticket .50 base (pre scratches) : 1,4,6 / 2,3,5 / 3,4 / 4,6,7 / 5,8 cost: $54
