Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 3 – 1
#3 Spirit Prince is a solid contender that has shown the ability to close into multiple pace scenarios. #1 Quereme Pass will have the pace advantage and is a gate to wire threat.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 8 – 6 – 2
#8 Bravo Kitten is dropping in class as she returns from a layoff, if this veteran is ready to fire she will be tough in this spot; recent workout says she is. #6 China Blue is a consistent presser who is united with jockey Miguel Vasquez. #2 Diamonds N Thrills will be closing late and has the potential to use the inside post to work out an advantageous trip.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 5 – 2
#5 Makeit to Cheyenne is looking for a repeat performance at the same class level and distance. #2 Xy Speed looks like one of the two to beat in today’s 9th.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 1 – 5 – 2 – 3
#1 Khozalite is a proven winner that cannot be overlooked. #5 Strategic Risk has good tactical speed and has been tested in similar stakes competition. #2 Prost was very impressive on debut and should not be overlooked today. #3 Roger That Dana also ran a very strong race breaking his maiden first time out.
Race 11 SELECTIONS: 6 – 1
#6 Eton is running first off the claim for a barn that does better than average with claimers, top and bottom breeding is a positive for the grass. #1 Big Bob was impressive last time out at this level, and retains the services of Jockey Miguel Vasquez. Last time out, Vasques let the horse settle and he came from off the pace, responding in a powerful way.
