Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 7
# 7 Sneak Preview will be making his second start off a long layoff for strong connections, has the pedigree and the time seems right for him to fire a BIG shot.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 1 – 9
#1 Life’s an Audible drops in class for strong connections and gets Lasix for the first time. #9 Hello Hollywood is a homebred for Double Heart Racing, she has had a consistent campaign as a three year old and today will be making her first start for new trainer Christophe Clement.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 3 – 1 – 6
#3 Comedy Town is returning to action after a three month layoff. He has been much improved since moving to the barn of Saffie Joseph Jr; jockey Drayden Van Dyke keeps the riding assignment.#1 Classify is also trained by Saffie Joseph Jr and is in good form after winning his latest attempt with a solid speed figure. #6 Mish will complete our admiration for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr by putting all three of his entrants in this race on the ticket, one of the three must win right?
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 9 – 5 – 10 – 3 – 6
#9 R Disaster will attempt to take them gate to wire and she has the speed to do it. #5 Personal Choice was nipped at the wire in her last race. She may have needed a race as that was coming off a layoff, should improve. #10 Wailua is well traveled, can run tactfully and knows how to win. #3 Julee’s Legacy has great early speed and has been improving speed figures consistently; Irad Ortiz gets the riding assignment. #6 Cruise to Catalina ships in from the New York racing scene to make her first start at Gulfstream Park. She is a hard trying filly that fits in well in today’s 10th.
Race 11 SELECTIONS: 11 – 12 – 8 – 4
#11 King of Ashes has showed improvement from race to race and gets Lasix today. #12 Constitution Road is a well bred son of Constitution out of a Arch dam, on debut he stalked the pace and finished a respectable second place in a field of twelve. #8 Gallant Lad found trouble in his debut but still managed to hit the board. #4 Abundance had some trouble at the start of his debut last time out, his workout tab indicates he is ready and gets jockey John Velazquez in the irons.
