Late Pick 5 Sequence
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion. To be more judicious with our bankroll in 2026, I will be taking a more targeted approach in Pick 5 selections and include some win bets and doubles when the opportunities arise.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 2 – 5 -4
#2 Real Macho just missed last time out in a very similar race, trainer Rohan Crichton is as hot as fish grease. #5 Unclecharliesgift is trying to find his niche but is a hard tryer who has good versatile speed. #4 Brooklyn Guy drops in class and could get a scenario where his late running kick could be effective.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 1 – 8 – 4
#1 I’mwishingonastar is in great form running third off the layoff , will need to maneuver the turn traffic from the inside post but she has the speed to do so. #8 Lucy’s Cookie is a very game competitor who fits with this group and gets jockey Joel Rosario as a pilot. #4 Clay Soldier drops in class, moves back to the turf and gets top jockey Irad Ortiz in the saddle.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 11 – 9 – 10
#11 Zolene gets the nod because she has good tactical speed and drew the outside post potentially avoiding traffic along the inside. #9 Silicium gets the include for the very same reasons we liked #11 Zolene. #10 Nacho Problem is not in good form but drops in class for trainer Brad Cox, jockey Tyler Gaffalione takes over the riding assignment.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 6 – 1
#6 Pronti O Meno will be the speed of the speed early in this race and although he is facing some notable competition, I am betting that his early pace advantage and current form to be enough for the victory. #1 Culpa didn’t have the best trip last time and that race was the first off a long layoff, drops in class today and I anticipate that trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. will have this one ready.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 4
#4 McKellen showed the ability to handle the turf last time and will drop in class for strong connections; he is the class of the field and will be our pathway to a payday.
