Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 1 – 5 – 3 – 2 – 4
#1 Uranium was claimed last time out and remains at the same level for new trainer Carlos Perez, Edwin Gonzalez picks up the mount. #5 Luni Sima is running second off the layoff for strong connections, he looked as if he needed a race last time out. #3 Starship Mocha returns to the distance that he had previously won three races in a row. #2 Santos to Wilson will make his second start for his new trainer and gets a jockey change to Emisael Jaramillo. #4 Scar is dropping in class and always gives an honest effort.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 3 – 7 – 1
#3 Episode won by five lengths last time out and today gets Lasix for the first time. #7 Xenon is dropping in class after tiring last time. Trainer Carlos David is good with young sprinters and I expect a return to form with this one. #1 Leprechauna showed a lot of promise on debut winning by six, then was unraced for 5 months until last time when she faded in the stretch; should improve greatly.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 4 – 7 – 5
#4 Space Launch is a closer with a good late kick that should have the pace opportunity to be victorious today. #7 Hot Blooded is a hard trying gelding with a similar style that will be right there in the end. #5 J P Hellish drops in class and has good tactical speed and should be able to press the pace effectively and have enough left in the end.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 1 – 3
#1 Test Factor is a hard trying colt that should benefit from a cut back in distance. # 3 Courageous Copper ships in from Woodbine for trainer Micheal De Paulo where he was very competitive, very fast recent workout.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 7
#7 Jalila is a well bred daughter of Justify that will return after a three month rest; last time out was her first start and she ran very well until she tired in the stretch.
