Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 10 – 1 – 6
#10 Typey will be running second off the layoff and making her second start for trainer Antonio Sano. #1 La Scaloneta should improve as she is returning to the turf. #6 More Money Hunny is getting a little class relief as she moves to the non winners of 2 arena; she has a much better closing kick than what we saw last time.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 3 – 6
#3 Gullfaxi ran away from her competition last time out, which was her first for new trainer Carlos David, in a similar contest; let’s see if she can put two in a row together. #6 Happy World drops in class and will attempt a route for the first time.; she has natural early speed and will try to carry it for a few more furlongs.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 1 – 2 – 5
#1 Bubbly Champagne drops in class and gets a rider change to Tyler Gaffalione. #2 Reasses does her best running early and we all know that jockey Paco Lopez loves to be on front end as well. #5 Be Here Now is coming off a less than stellar effort; today she will stretch back out to a route distance and will be running second off the layoff.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 2 -1
#2 Ms. Tart moves to her new, barn that of trainer Kevin Rice after winning a similar race on dirt; she has good back class and gets jockey Tyler Gaffalione in the irons. #1 Dea Matrona has a versatile running style and is always competitive.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 2 – 7
#2 Hippy Hippy Shake gets the red hot jockey Paco Lopez in the saddle as she looks to remain competitive at this level, good recent workout. #7 Vekoma’s War will be running with Lasix for the second time as she drops in class, looking to break her maiden.
