Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 3 – 4
# 3 West Bank will make her second start for trainer Nolan Rasmey, she has good early speed and is cutting back in distance. # 4 Brown Eyed Beauty cuts back in distance and class level and should be competitive in this spot.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 4 – 9 – 8
#4 Keepsake has the highest speed figure to date in the field after being a competitive second place in both her prior starts. #9 Taratel will be making her second career start after doing just fine on debut when she was the post time favorite; gets Lasix for the first time for solid connections. #8 Nosleeptilbrooklyn has the name of a classic hip-hop banger! This filly also possesses good tactical speed and gets Lasix for the first time; jockey Luis Saez will be in the irons.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 5 – 6
# 5 Mister Kelly won’t be the favorite but is dropping in class, gets a good outside post and should be able to put in a solid showing in this spot
# 6 Sultan the Great also gets the outside advantage and has the ability to blitz the field going gate to wire.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 6
#6 Paradise City ran against tougher in her last race, has solid speed figures and will be getting Lasix for the first time.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 10 – 7 – 6 – 2
# 10 Walley World is dropping in class and has good tactical speed for solid connections. # 7 Devilsgotacause is also dropping in class after putting in a good showing on the dirt last time, running third off the lay off. # 6 Drink N Wink gets back to the turf and is the best closer in the field, his running style fits well with jockey Joel Rosario. # 2 Goes the Clown drops in class and gets the meets leading rider Irad Ortiz.
