AQUEDUCT ANALYSIS – 01/24/2025
RACE 1: 5-6-1-3
#5 THAT’STHEFACTJACK narrowly missed last time out and now upgrades in terms of female riders from the Davis family. She has enough tactical speed to stay close and the 7 furlong trip looks like just what she wants.
RACE 2: 4-5-6-2
#4 STEEL VENGEANCE drops in class off a MSW try late last year for Wayne Potts. He should improve here on the drop back in for a tag and with the addition of Lasix.
RACE 3: 2-1A-6-3
#2 BRAMITO takes a massive class drop for Linda Rice after a trio of dull efforts against N2X company. He is in for a tag for the first time since July when he was claimed by this high percentage barn. The inside draw and his early speed make him a player from the word go.
RACE 4: 6-7-3-5
#6 SHE’S COOL goes 2nd off a claim by Wayne Potts after an even effort last time out. This filly ended up stuck behind 1-2 finishers from Rice’s barn in her last start and can rebound here with a forwardly placed trip.
RACE 5: 7-6-1-4
#7 SUNSET PARK is a second timer who debuted at Presque Isle on the Tapeta. She showed some early life before fading and re-rallying late in that affair. She now joins the care of Bruce Levine and adds blinkers, so expect a forwardly placed trip today.
RACE 6: 1-6-7-5
#1 CHASING DAYLIGHT has speed and has been in good form of late for Rudy Rodriguez. She ran into a sharp runner last time out and understandably tired in the late stages after contesting a hot pace. This is a great potential rebound spot for this daughter of Mr. Z
RACE 7: 2-5-1-6
#2 SCAT TU TAP is shortening up in distance after failing at a mile last time out. The field this 5YO exits was robust, and he lost position badly on the far turn. This is a great spot for him to rebound at a square price.
RACE 8: 3-1-2-7
#3 OMEY ISLAND is dropping in for a tag as he goes 2nd off a layoff for trainer Dave Duggan. He has speed and adds blinkers here, which should only sharpen him up in the opening stages. Expect him to be a solid favorite as well.
