RACE 1: 6-4-3-5
#6 IRIDESCENT goes second off a claim and drops in class to a spot that suits him much better such as this. He draws nicely outside and can stalk and pounce from the start for red-hot connections.
RACE 2: 3-1-5
#3 EVIDENCIAS is a late runner who ran out of time last time out at Laurel. She needs to get things started a little earlier but was an impressive winner two back going this trip and can upset again.
RACE 3: 5-7-4-6
Let there be no doubt that #7 YORK TAVERN should win this race, but he is so tough to trust with that 1-22 record. That leaves #5 CONNIVING as the best alternative given the slight step forward last out when chasing the pace wide.
RACE 4: 3-2-6-7
A second straight win is hardly out of the question with #3 JUST BE HONEST, who showed more speed last time out going 9 panels. He’s in light with Chris Elliott back on board and will be forwardly placed once again.
RACE 5: 3-4-5-6
#3 T KRAFT is back in NY after two tries in Kentucky where he ran poorly. This is a spot for him to improve as he should be the inside speed getting Lasix for Bill Mott.
RACE 6: 2-1-6-7
#2 SCAT TU TAP has moved forward since joining the barn of Antonio Arriaga and still has room to improve with limited dirt opportunities prior. Look for him to excel at this 9 furlong trip.
RACE 7: 4-5-2-7
#4 POINTS IS POINTS was wide last time out on a day when you needed to save ground at all costs. She never really fired but is a major player to bounce back today at a square price.
RACE 8: 3-4-5-11
#3 ON THE HILL feels like the right player in this tough N1X as he bounced back last time out at Finger Lakes and should be able to sit back and make one run in a pace-laden affair.
RACE 9: 10-8-6-3
All signs point to #10 VEKINDA being very tough to beat as he exits a good runner-up finish behind one of the best NY breds alive at the moment.
