RACE 1: 5-4-1A-2B
#5 ROYAL TRYST has had a productive career for inferior barns and now goes first off a claim by a high percentage outfit. He should be moving late in this affair and will be a good price in a competitive heat.
RACE 2: 1-2-6-7
#1 BEARY FUNNY is a major player off a claim by Bill Morey, one of the better conditioners when it comes to these types. He has been in respectable form for quite some time and bids to get a 4th local win in this spot.
RACE 3: 3-4-2-1
#3 CAMM’ DUKE is the one to catch off a poor effort against similar last time out. He’s in light with the bug boy aboard again today and should be able to get well clear early given what’s left in this field after scratches.
RACE 4: 5-1A-4-3
#5 VEGAS WEEKEND was re-claimed by Antonio Arriaga out of her last start and should be a strong late player today. She has shown the versatility to race more forwardly in the past, and that will help with her going a mile today.
RACE 5: 5-8-3-1
#5 POCKET QUEENS is supposed to get well clear in the early stages of this affair. She is getting Lasix for the first time for Christophe Clement and should be very tough to beat if able to get clear.
RACE 6: 8-2-3-1
#8 VALENZAN DAY goes first off a claim by Linda Rice and should be able to get loose in the opening stages of this affair. There’s precious little speed signed up to keep him honest early, so look for a forwardly placed trip today.
RACE 7: 3-1A-2-7
#3 WEIGH THE RISKS will be an overwhelming favorite in search of a second straight win for Chad Brown. She ran a big race in a fast time last time out and has plenty of upside when it comes to dirt given her limited opportunities.
RACE 8: 6-4-5-1
The class drop for #6 LUCA ON POINT should be enough to get him to the winner’s circle. He has shown nothing in two prior starts, but this is a far softer bunch than what he’s seen before and that should help his cause.
