Oaklawn Park Early P4 Analysis- April 2nd 2021- By Spencer Luginbuhl

Race 2
#6Front Page: This horse is taking a considerable class drop from allowance to claiming 6K, but to me, it makes sense he won for 5K two back and now takes the correct step up the ladder. I think they got too ambitious with this one last time out. Santana and Asmussen are always dangerous connections, especially at 8-1

A=6-1

Race 3
#1 Super Cassidy: I’m hoping maybe the stretch out is what did last time because the race two back is acceptable for the MC 20K. They will now turn her back and drop her back into sprints where trainer Randy Morse has done very well over the last few years with a positive ROI.

A=1-2

Race 4
#1 Ego: This gelding drops back down the ladder after not so good a race for 30K. His race two back for 16K was solid, and the key was it was above the Beyer par for the level. Dropping down to 12 is a little suspect but I’m expecting a big performance from a horse that is usually forgotten about at the window.

A=1-3-5

Race 5
#1 Ragtagtag: First off, the Claim for Asmussen, after just missing for 5K down at the Fairgrounds, this is the next logical step up. She also has excellent back numbers from Hawthorne that make her very solid in here.

A=1-8
