Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 6
#6 Rocky Seas has the best speed figures and is in the best form of a group that is very inconsistent and sporadic.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 9 – 7 – 1
#9 Beach Gold runs good in different sections of the race if he can put two or more of them together he will be very capable of the victory. #7 Ciao Chuck is a very competitive gelding and gets a rider change to Dylan Davis. #1 Musta’ed showed great early speed on debut last time out before tiring; the inside post position and his speed should be a good combination.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 4 – 12 – 1 – 9 – 2
#4 Cajun’s Choice just missed at this level last time out. #12 Breezer is dropping in class and will be running third off the layoff. #1 Blaze of Color will be making his first start for his new trainer Frank Regalbuto. #9 Charge Off is dropping in class and gets Irad Ortiz in the irons. #2 Little Steven is dangerous at this level.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 8 – 2
#8 Gloria’s Princess will be running second off a long layoff, should be in much better race shape now. #2 Uphill Dance has lots of back class and has the running style that fits the two turn mile here at Gulfstream Park.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 7 – 3 – 9
#7 American Speed was just edged out by Tiz Romantic last time, I would anticipate that jockey Jose Morelos will try to put just a little more distance between he and the others earlier on in the race, this gelding has that ability. #3 Tiz Romantic comes into the race in great form winning his last race and gets another half a furlong to try a similar tactic. #9 K. C. Chief will be running third off the layoff for strong connections and has good tactical speed.
