SARATOGA SELECTIONS AND ANALYSIS BROUGHT TO YOU BY @BUCCHEROSTUD | LEARN MORE AT http://IHStallions.com

RACE 1: 3-6-5-1

#3 COOLA BOOLA is training well for the debut for trainer George Weaver and is out of a stakes-placed dam.  This filly is a half to Know It All Audrey, who was a stakes-placed NY bred.  If she is quick out of the gate, that is likely all it will take to win this thing.

RACE 2: 4-6-3-7

#4 A BOURBON FOR TOBY is shortening up in distance for trainer Tom Morley after going wide last time out. The late push he put forth is notable and he should be involved in the stretch drive once again.  The price will be decent for a Flavien Prat-ridden turfer.

RACE 3: 5-2-4-7

#5 BOBROVSKY is a second time starter who ran a big race on debut and should be tough to catch today.  He is training strongly for veteran Dale Romans and obviously has a great deal of speed.  Irad Ortiz, Jr. hopping aboard ensures a short price.

RACE 4: 2-3-7-1

#3 NEW ATTITUDE ran a respectable race on debut for Miguel Clement and now drops in for a tag.  She should have the run of the race with little speed signed up and her odds are sure to dip below the morning line of 3/5.  She’ll also be a hot commodity at the claim box.

RACE 5: 2-3-4-1

There’s no real reason to be against #1 SET, who will be a heavy favorite and is a standout on paper.  He goes 2nd off a layoff here and will be in range from just off the pace.  The rail draw is the only tricky component as he’ll have to overcome the inside post while negotiating a trip from off the pace.

RACE 6: 4-2-1-5

#4 NINA KAY returns off a break today after failing at a mile last time out.  She was stuck inside that afternoon and tired late.  She is better suited to sprinting and will be in position just off the pace.  Linda Rice had a big win here on Wednesday afternoon and has had a productive meet so far.

RACE 7: 5-7-9-8

#5 ARAUCANO is a second timer who debuted against 50k maiden sellers at Churchill Downs and now drops in class.  He should be wound a bit tighter second time out and, at this stage of the game, the Churchill shippers are an automatic bet.

RACE 8: 5-7-2-1

#5 TAX IMPLICATIONS was too close to the pace last time out and wound up tiring late.  She drops in class today and should be a better fit at this level.  The versatility she possesses is enough to make her very tough to beat at what should be a short price.

RACE 9: 6-3-5-4

#6 CRUDO is a threat to #3 STRATEGIC FOCUS here, though the latter is the one to beat.  Crudo was thrown to the wolves last time out in the Belmont, but hardly disgraced himself with a pace-stalking trip.  He should be in an ideal position here early and can bounce back this afternoon.

RACE 10: 3-9-7-8

#3 ROHAN gets a key rider switch off a solid 3rd place finish at this level last time out.  He likely has to improve to win this thing, but the pace in here will be solid enough to set up his late bid.  The 9 furlong distance likely suits him best as well, given his maiden victory came at this trip.
