Reasoning:
The last time Rijeka (IRE) won we were all learning what Covid is. My angles include a atmosphere change coming from the east side of the country, a trainer switch up to D’Amato, who is proven to take on new horses well and an awesome workout pattern coming into the race.
With how the Del Mar Turf has been playing it would carry my 230 pounds home aboard Rijeka. Five horses have a TimeFormUS late pace # which favors closing. The clear on paper pace setter is #2, Parsimony, who looks to serve as a rabbit. If Joe Bravo puts the horse in a clear spot to run home then game on.
