Race 7: OC $62k 8.5f (T, one turn)
Very interesting race with many in here who want to go longer.
- Most Logical: #7 Town Cruise (3-1 & bet 1.0 unit) Looks to be the speed in this race and wants this distance. Overall fits on figures and the rest of this bunch may not be able to keep up early.
- Best Value: #2 Split My Pants (20-1) 2nd off the layoff, closing into slow fractions and shorter, solid company in last outing.
- Beatable Favorite: #3 Sir Sahib (5/2) Is 0 for 3 at the distance and the PPs scream this one wants longer. Has also yet to win a race at Woodbine out of seven starts. Trip note a few back downgrading this one has us off this horse.
- Trip Note: 10/18/2021 Dream ride along rail, tipped out perfectly, ran into a little trouble, grinded home.
Race 8: Clm $25k 6f (AW)
- Most Logical: #4 Hidden Identity (7/5 & bet 2.0 units above 4/5) Some might say this one got an easy setup, which is true. But the number posted is towering above this field. The gallop out in debut was even impressive running out an extra dozen lengths. With most of these others in here, they have tried this n2L ranking several times. For Hidden Identity, this is just another paycheck onto bigger things after graduating from this rank.
- Next Best: #6 Tara Dawn (6-1) If the pace heats up, I project this one to be running late. In last three starts has yet to get a pace to run into.
Race 9: MOC 5f (AW)
- Most Logical: #1 Magic Mountain (3-1 & bet 2.0 units at 2-1 or greater) Ran a very nice number facing adversity. If can get a clean break would expect to be much closer to the lead as they turn in.
- Trip Note 6/13/2021 smashed out of gate, losing all position, settled 4-6L of leaders, missed turn, miracle to run on as well. expect better next out
- Best Value: #4 Jocularity (8-1) Continues to improve in each and every start. Has a sharp workout in May that might prove this one can take one more step forward.
Race 10: MOC $40k 7.5f (T, two turns inner)
- Most Logical: #1 Maximus Momentous (7/2 & bet 1.0 unit) this one scratched out of a race where he was 20-1 morning line against tougher. Here this one finds easier waters and think can be deadly on the lead, second off the layoff.
- Best Value: #9 Ready at Dawn (10-1) Might be some meat on the bone with this one, gets gelded, blinkers off, and a freshening. Last out was on the lead with three horses that were pretty good and speed/fade. Today should get a much cozier trip with the minimal pace and easier company.
