RACE 1: 4-7-1-2
#4 FULL SALUTE is a potential upsetter on the surface switch and class drop for a low percentage barn. He gets a rider upgrade with Jalon Samuel taking the call.
RACE 2: 1/1A-10-9-5
The entry of #1 CONGRATS FOR GLORY and #1A NOT STORMY is formidable in that they have complementary running styles. They’ll offer value too in a race where the favorites are not formidable.
RACE 3: 4-1A-2
#4 ANALYZE IT is the one to catch in this affair as he returns off a brief break. He will be at his best with the lead, so look for an aggressive ride.
RACE 4: 2-4-7-6
#2 PERFECT MUNNINGS returns off a layoff and gets Lasix for the first time. He was wide on a day where the rail was the place to be when we last saw him and he still has upside.
RACE 5: 10-2-7-8
#10 DISTINCTLYPOSSIBLE is out of a dam who was a graded stake winner and is by a 11% debut sire. She worked :10 and 1/5 at the OBS sale in April and has drawn an ideal outside post.
RACE 6: 10-3-4-6
#10 VAGARIES is a well-bred daughter of Lope de Vega who was slated to be a heavy favorite in a similar event taken off the turf 10 days ago. She has drawn a disadvantageous outside post, but is a threat.
RACE 7: 6-5-4-12
#6 OUR TROUBADOUR returns off a layoff and faced a much tougher field of 35k claimers when we last saw him in late June. He has the tactical speed to stay within range from the start.
RACE 8: 2-4-7-1
#2 BEAU LIAM is the one to beat off a game win last time out against N1X competition. He will be actively involved from the start and is clearly a very talented horse with major upside.
RACE 9: 6-3-1-7
#6 IN EFFECT had a tough trip last time out when 3rd in the Hall of Fame with a strong pace setup. He rates to get one again and should be a serious late player.
RACE 10: 1-2-9-6
#1 COUNT DOWN goes first off a claim by Rudy Rodriguez and is the one to catch from the inside. He ran a bang-up race last time out against weaker and is a threat to go the distance if able to get clear.
