Race 1: #8 First Navy Admiral
- First Navy Admiral has some early kick for the red hot barn of Haleem Lee. 3rd off a couple month layoff and gets Silvestre Gonzalez again who is the leading jockey for this barn. I think this field lacks that early speed aspect outside of this horse so if Silvestre can get this horse to the front, he will be tough to catch.
Race 7: #3 Melitza
- Melitza was a horse I loved in her turf debut and she ran a huge race. She then was brought back a little too quick and finished mid pack but ran well off a short break. I think now with a month in between races and a drop in class, it should result in a win. I think Wolfsont sticking with this one is also a good indicator that she can win if she faces the right group.
Race 10: #10 Jackie B Good
- Jackie B Good did not like the Delaware turf course and should enjoy returning to Parx. Adorno and Velazquez have had success in the past and I think her attempt at this level 2 races back here at Parx was solid. If she can improve on that effort she can win. I am willing to toss that delaware race and forget it happened and when you do that, this horse looks a lot better on paper in this field.
