Race 3: #5 Iyiyi
- Iyiyi is a pretty solid horse for the Butch Reid barn here at Parx. She is very hit or miss though but when she is on her A game she is pretty tough to beat. However, I think those hit or miss races is due to her possibly being a bleeder and now the connections are giving her lasix for the first time. Sofia Vives gets the call who is just dominating at Parx with the opportunities she is getting. I think this one is the one to beat.
Race 6: #4 Five Star Fran
- Five Star Fran is an interesting horse here off the claim. Perez Stables is primarily an ownership group for Carlos Soto but here they are claiming a horse for Rafael Romero. Since the claim this horse has been working very well at their private training course in New Jersey. Five Star Fran has always been competitive but seems to quit late. Now back at the 6F mark and in a new barn, I can see this one winning off the claim.
