📊 Saturday Results: ITM Handicappers Deliver

There were some excellent results for ITM handicappers on Saturday — take your pick as far as headlines go.

Drew Coatney’s bankroll play clicked. He put $50 to win on Maycocks Bay in the Eclipse Stakes (G2) at Woodbine — documented on the pod before the races were even run — collected approximately $102, then rolled into Possiblemente (the horse he memorably mispronounced as “Possible Mate”) in the Jacques Cartier (G3), who paid $10.90 to win. Drew turned $50 into roughly $559 across two win bets.

Meanwhile at Monmouth, Eric Solomon got $21.60 back for every $2 when Neat won the Cliff Hanger on top. Biggest price top-pick winner of the day across all four tracks.

Mikee P and Chris Cupples went 3-for-6 in graded stakes top picks at Churchill on Stephen Foster Preview Day. Splendora ($4.78) took the Shawnee, Cornucopian ($3.56) held off Roll On Big Joe in the Aristides, and Lagynos ($7.18) made it four in a row with a smooth stalk-and-pounce in the Arlington.

We pride ourselves on giving away our best information free — but if you want bonus content like email digests of the picks from all the shows, extra analysis, and Belmont week coverage that goes deeper than anything else out there, make sure you sign up for ITM Plus. 🎙️ From ITM: The Owner’s Box with Lynn Hancock

The Owner’s Box Episode 198 — Lynn Hancock joins Billy and Michelle for a conversation that covers five generations of the Hancock family in the thoroughbred business, from her great-great-grandfather’s Civil War injury to the founding of Claiborne to her father Arthur III starting Stone Farm on 100 leased acres. Lynn talks about the $17,000 buyback that turned into Sunday Silence, how she evaluates yearlings (“if they stand up quick, they’re athletic”), the one-third rule for stallion fee budgeting, and her nomination to the Breeders’ Cup Board of Directors. Plus: her dad’s book Dark Horses and why Bourbon County is not prime dating territory.
