Pro Player Roundtable, Breeders' Cup 2026: Sean Boarman's takes on Domain Expansion, Qirat and Sovereignty

Pro Player Roundtable: BCBC Champ Sean Boarman and Ryan Petrunyak Analyze the 2026 Breeders’ Cup

Recorded live under the sycamore tree in the Keeneland paddock, this is an audio-only twist on our Pro Player Roundtable. 2023 BCBC champion Sean Boarman is joined by Ryan Petrunyak, who qualified for this year’s Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge and has been running his handicapping ideas past Sean all season. This time we hit record.

The theme is narrative vs. numbers. Ryan and PTF pitch the stories going around Breeders’ Cup week: the jockey knocks, horses for courses, Kentucky Downs form, a virus in the barn, a foot issue. Sean tells us which ones he’d bet against and which have real signal. Along the way: why he thinks Domain Expansion is the most likely winner of the Juvenile Fillies, his case for Qirat as the European who could get lost on the tote in the Mile, a pass on the Distaff, and his love for Sovereignty in the Classic. Plus BCBC strategy for the big two-horse races and when to sit out.
